The Silent Couple

This activity is going to be done in three steps:

1st. Step. Predicting Events
Predict what the picture limns and think of what the reading is about by answering the next questions:
  • Why do you think this just-married couple look so serious?
  • What are the two thieves behind the couple doing?
  • Why do you think this is happening?

2nd. Step. Checking Comprehension
After reading, answer the next five comprehension questions:
  • What caused the dispute between the newlyweds?
  • What did the bride suggest to solve the problem?
  • What happened while the couple was sitting and looking at each other?
  • In the end, who was the first to speak?
  • Why did he or she speak?

3rd. Step. Critical Thinking
To get this activity to good ending, describe:
If you had to write a moral for this story, what would it be?

Student Wanted !

Tell the world who you think is highly required. This person must be somebody from your classroom.

Example:
He is somebody that is a friend of everybody. He studies a non-common career. He sometimes comes to classes with his hair disordered but I think that's his hair-style. Quite smart and participative, but sometimes easily distracted by somebody else in class. I am going to give a chocolate bar for his name!
